International media arts festival, OK. Video, is back. This is the seventh festival organized biannually since it was first held in 2003. ORDE BARU OK. Video - Indonesia Media Arts Festival 2015 is held on 15 - 28 June 2015 and supported by the Galeri Nasional Indonesia which also becomes the festival's main venue.

'Comuna Under Construction' is an ethnography of self-organisation, a film which as part of a series of collaborations the artist Oliver Ressler carried out with Azzellini, takes a look at the everyday experiences of ordinary Venezuelan people. Since the initiation of a rhizomatic system of self-organizing - citizens come together to discuss local issues through a network of committees and subcommittees which empower people to initiate local development projects.

Venezuelan law allows for an entity called the consejo communal (communal council), which empowers citizens to initiate local development projects through neighbourhood-based elected councils. Dario Azzellini and Oliver Ressler’s film, Comuna under construction (2010), begins with the story of a poor hillside community in Caracas as its inhabitants decide whether they want to organize a consejo communal.

In more than 30.000 Consejos Comunales the Venezuelan inhabitants decide on their concerns collectively via assemblies. Several Consejos Comunales can form a Comuna and finally a communal town.
The film “Comuna Under Construction” follows these developments throughout the hillside of the shantytowns of Caracas and the vast and wet plains of Barinas in the countryside.
