“Kabul, Jenin, Tehran...” (with Comuna under construction)
Recent video work addressing issues of political and documentary representation, often overlooked by mainstream media. Focused on sites of conflict and resistance--the Colombian armed conflict, postwar Afghanistan--as well as the politics of transparency and representation--the Palestinian refuge camp, the Consejo Comunal.
The series includes films by Bodil Furu and Beate Petersen (Norway), Dario Azzellini and Oliver Ressler (Venezuela/Austria), Reza Haeri (Iran), Carlos Motta (Colombia/U.S.), and the Otolith Group (U.K.).

Uneven Geographies brings together the work of artists from five continents who find experimental ways of capturing the processes of globalisation, and its human consequences in various regions of the world.

Theatre of Peace
The project is concerned with presenting the strategies deployed by artistic interventions that make visible the asymmetric conflict situations occurring in various places throughout the world. SCHAU-PLÄTZE – an exhibition intended to present artistic work and interventions which work towards conflict resolution. A diverse range of media, channels and forms of cooperation will be used to heighten the project’s visibility and that of the initiatives it showcases.

Experimental Geography
Geography benefits from the study of specific histories, sites, and memories. Every estuary, landfill, and cul-de-sac has a story to tell. The task of the geographer is to alert us to what is directly in front of us, while the task of the experimental geographer—an amalgam of scientist, artist, and explorer—is to do so in a manner that deploys aesthetics, ambiguity, poetry, and a dash of empiricism.

5 Factories – Worker Control in Venezuela:
A 6-channel video installation by Dario Azzellini & Oliver Ressler (2006)
Exhibition opening: Monday, December 21 at 6 pm
The 6-channel video installation “5 Factories–Worker Control in Venezuela” is presented in Europe, in Tallinn, for the first time, after it was presented and commissioned for the controversial MATRIX cycle “Now-Time Venezuela: Media Along the Path of the Bolivarian Process” at the Berkeley Art Museum (U.S.A.), organized by Chris Gilbert, in 2006.
