Por fín. En julio se publicará el libro que escribí junto al gran compa Marcelo Vieta sobre empresas recuperadas, trabajo como bien común y democracia obrera en el mundo:
"Commoning Labour and Democracy at Work: When Workers Take Over"Routledge, 290 Pages, July 14, 2025 (seguirá una edición de tapa blanda a mejor precio)
Cuando terminamos de escribir el libro había llegado a más de 500 páginas, incluyendo las comunas, el autogobierno directo. Consideramos que el autogobierno directo, el contról político-administrativo, debe ir de la mano del control de los medios de producción. Al final decidimos hacer dos libros. Asi que preparense: Seguirá otro libro pronto sobre comunas y autogobierno...

Commoning Labour and Democracy at Work: When Workers Take Over

This book investigates the return of workers’ self-management in recent decades as responses to recurring neoliberal crises. In particular, the book homes in on worker-recuperated enterprises (WREs), a promising form of workers’ self-organization whereby workers restart troubled, bankrupt, or shuttered companies as cooperatives or other forms of democratic workplace.
The book argues that WREs are prefigurative of new forms of work based on equality and sustainability. Framed by the concepts of autogestión, the labour commons, and prefigurative ethico-political practices, the book argues that WREs contribute to the construction of more directly democratic community economies. Drawing on a range of contemporary case studies from numerous countries in the Global South and North, as well as new theories of workers’ self-management, the book contributes a critical development, political economic, and class-struggle Marxist perspective to the re-emergent labour question within anti-systemic social movements, while theorizing the transformative nature of WREs for workers, work organizations, and communities.

Ideas and practices of communal self-administration are widespread in Latin America, especially among indigenous and Afro-American communities, stemming from ancestral customs. Commune-like self- administration predates the Paris Commune and has surfaced repeatedly throughout history. AT: Du dokumentierst in deiner Arbeit rückeroberte Betriebe in Europa und Lateinamerika. Ist das so bewusst geographisch gewählt, oder gibt es in den anderen Teilen der Welt weniger Beispiele?
DA: Nein, es gibt tatsächlich überall Beispiele auf der Welt. Ich wähle nur nach Sprachen, die ich gut beherrsche. Ich kann leider kein Chinesisch und von daher ist es echt schwer, da was rauszufinden. Was wir wissen, ist, dass es auch dort Betriebsbesetzungen um die 2000er Wende gab, als die große Privatisierungswelle war. Dabei haben auch einige besetzte Betriebe durchgesetzt, Genossenschaften zu werden....

Arbeiterinnen und Arbeiter erobern ihre Betriebe zurück und öffnen Wege zu einer nichtkapitalistischen Produktion. SoZ Nr.9, 2024
"Laut Insolvenzstatistik des Statistischen Bundesamts wurden im vergangenen Jahr 2023 in Deutschland rund 176000 Unternehmen geschlossen. Davon haben 11 Prozent Insolvenz angemeldet. Immer wieder wird berichtet, dass Firmen trotz voller Auftragsbücher Insolvenz anmelden. Entweder stimmt die Gewinnmarge nicht, oder das Geld soll woanders lukrativer angelegt werden. Die Beschäftigten müssen schauen, wo sie bleiben. Manchmal bleiben sie dort, wo sie waren: In ihren Betrieben, die sie weiterführen wollen. Dario Azzellini nennt diesen Prozess, in Anlehnung an den berühmten Marxschen Begriff »Wiederaneignung«, Rückeroberung der Betriebe unter Arbeiter:innenkontrolle. Auf einer Veranstaltung in Köln im Mai dieses Jahres stellte er dies an Beispielen von Betrieben in Europa und Lateinamerika dar...."

4.ª Escuela de Transferencia Laboral (4th Labour Transfer School): estableciendo vínculos entre la investigación y el activismo laboral

La Escuela de Transferencia Laboral (LabourTransfer) es una iniciativa internacional independiente y sin fines de lucro de académicos laborales de todo el mundo interesados en colaboraciones, sinergias e intercambio de conocimientos entre el mundo académico y las organizaciones sociales, con el objetivo de producir conocimiento emancipador sobre cuestiones laborales y sociales. LabourTransfer ofrece a los participantes la oportunidad de intercambiar sus intereses de investigación con académicos, activistas laborales, artistas, periodistas y sindicalistas de todo el mundo. LabourTransfer no es una escuela de verano académica tradicional ni un centro de formación para sindicalistas, sino un lugar de trabajo en red para el activismo laboral y la justicia social.
