Buenos días!
Finalmente ha salido mi último libro "Participación, control obrero y la comuna: movimientos y transformación social, el ejemplo de Venezuela" con la editorial alemana VSA. Ya está a la venta (ver punto 2). Espero que en 2011 se logre publicar el libro en castellano con la editorial El Perro y la Rana en Venezuela.
Junto a Immanuel Ness (Brooklyn College) he terminado una compilación de varios autores sobre control obrero (debate, ejemplos históricos y actuales), que será publicado en inglés en mayo 2011 por Haymarket Books (EEUU):
"OURS TO MANAGE AND CONTROL. Workers Councils from the Commune to the Present".
Ahora estoy trabajando en la versión alemana y en castellano. Busacmos todavía a voluntarios que nos apoyen en esta causa con traducciones del inglés al castellano. Si pueden apoyar con una traducción de un artículo la publicación del libro, contactenme por favor. De otra manera no lograremos publicarlo, plata no tenemos y tampoco se consigue para este tipo de cosas, como se pueden imaginar.
El documental "Comuna en construcción", que hice junto a Oliver Ressler, está siendo presentado en varios países del mundo (veáse punto 4).

Dario Azzellini: Constituent Power in Motion: Ten Years of Transformation in Venezuela
In: Socialism and Democracy, Volume 24 Issue 2 2010, pp. 8-30
One of the main issues in recent years for those desiring profound social transformation – especially in Latin America – has been the question of taking power. Should we to some extent collaborate with State institutions, or should we reject any involvement with them? We can define these general visions respectively, grosso modo, as “top down” (desde arriba) and “bottom up” (desde abajo).
With the rise of Comandante Hugo Chávez Frías to the presidency at the beginning of 1999, there began in Venezuela a process of deep social transformation guided by a broad Left ranging from social democrats, revolutionary nationalists, developmentalists, and socialists, to different currents of the revolutionary Left and various popular movements. This confluence of “top down” and “bottom up” approaches, generally considered incompatible, required all the Left forces to rethink various questions. These include the State, the economy, participation, democracy, and strategies and paths of social transformation.
No theoretical current of the Left had previously visualized the possibility that an authentic revolutionary process could develop in the manner of the Bolivarian process. It began not as a socialist revolution, but as an anti-neoliberal movement that became increasingly radicalized...

Mi tesis de doctorado de ciencias políticas en Frankfurt sobre participación en Venezuela será publicada en la editorial alemana VSA en octubre:

El trabajo consiste en un análisis de la "democracia participativa y protagónica" en Venezuela. Hay una parte teorica amplia sobre participación, democracia, poder constituyente, populismo, clase.... una investigación sobre la democratización de la propiedad y la administración de medios de producción y una investigación profunda de los Consejos Comunales.
