www.workerscontrol.net - archivo internacional de control obrero en todas sus formas - lleva casi 5 meses online.
Allí encuentran una cantidad creciente de artículos sobre control obrero en todas sus formas. invitamos tod@s a enviar artículos para poner en la página, especialmente a l@s compas que están en experiencias concretas... Alcasa, Inveval etc. en Venezuela, en Argentina y en otros lugares. Para más información véase el punto 1.
El tema es muy actual: Más allá de tomas en Latinoamerica, durante las últimas semanas hubo tomas de obreros en EEUU (una fábrica de ventanas) y Grecia (mínimo un hospital y un hotel).

La versión en alemán del libro sobre control obrero "Ours to master and to own" todavía no ha salido. Será publicada pronto en la editorial Neuer ISP Verlag: "Die endlich entdeckte politische Form. Fabrikräte und Selbstverwaltung von der russischen Revolution bis heute" (Véase el punto 2.)
En cambio encontramos una editorial venezolana que se hace las traducciones que faltan y publicará el libro en castellano.
Y la versión en inglés va tan bien que ya estamos trabajando en un segundo volumen!

www.workerscontrol.net lleva 4 meses en linea. Hemos recibido muchas reacciones positivas. Es la única página internet internacional que se ocupa exclusivamte de control obrero en todas sus formas.
El tema es muy actual: Más allá de tomas en Latinoamerica, durante las últimas semanas hubo tomas de obreros en EEUU (una fábrica de ventanas) y Grecia (mínimo un hospital y un hotel).
Ya hay un@s compas trabajando para hacer workerscontrol.net en portugués y en serbo-croato.
www.workerscontrol.net es una biblioteca virtual (hasta ahora en aleman, castellano e inglés) abierta para la colección y el acceso a la documentación y ensayos teóricos sobre las experiencias pasadas y corrientes de control obrero. El hecho de que l@s trabajador@s hayan, en diferentes momentos históricos y lugares geográficos, tomado el control, de su entorno de trabajo y hayan producido bajo autogestión, muchas veces de forma espontánea, tiene una importancia política y teórica que supera el lugar de trabajo y la organización de producción, ya que configura un modo alternativo de gestión de las sociedades.
Asumiendo el control autónomo de su trabajo y negando la contundencia de la propiedad privada, l@s trabajador@s, aun que momentáneamente, han puesto patas arriba a toda la estructura de las relaciones capitalistas de producción, abriendo el espacio para reinventar la producción como sistema de acción bajo su propio control.
Es este carácter intrínsecamente emancipatorio el que hace el conocimiento y la difusión de documentación sobre las experiencias del control de los trabajadores particularmente importante y esto tanto de una perspectiva política como de una teórica. Promoviendo la colección y el acceso a esta documentación queremos que este sitio sea de estímulo para poner el control de los trabajadores en el centro de la práctica y acción de los sindicatos y partidos políticos y contribuir, en una sociedad dominada por la idea que ninguna alternativa es posible, a una perspectiva contra hegemónica.
El proyecto depende de la participación activa de l@s usuari@s. Si tienen textos que consideran un aporte a la colección, envienlos – agradecemos todas las propuestas. Si tienen interés en asumir la responsabilidad para alguna area o idioma en concreto (o un para un idioma que todavía no está), bienvenid@s!

"Ours to Master and to Own: Workers Control from the Commune to the Present edited by Immanuel Ness and Dario Azzellini goes a long way in assisting us in that exploration. Ness and Azzellini are well-positioned to put together such an important work; both have long radical histories as writers, teachers and activists. The result of their efforts is a rich collection of stories of workers seizing control of production in different epochs under a vast array of circumstances in numerous countries.
There are two important themes that emerge as one reads through the cases collected by Ness and Azzellini. One is that many workers across time and around the world have understood better than any revolutionary theoretician that the working class controlling its own work is the way it should be. Second is that councils, apart from any trade union or vanguard party, develop spontaneously and organically as the system of private ownership slips into crisis. As detailed in the book, this development occurs so frequently in such instances as to be almost a natural phenomenon."

Richard Müller. The Man behind the November Revolution is the title of the
seventh volume of the hardcover book series History of Communism and Leftist
Socialism, edited by Berlin-based Dietz publishers. But who was Richard
Müller? Never heard of him? Today widely unknown, Müller was the leader of
the so-called Revolutionary Shop Stewards in the early twentieth century in
Germany. “From 1916 to 1921, Müller was without any doubt among the
politically most influential personalities in the German labor movement” (216).
The Revolutionary Stewards were the primary organizers behind the massstrike
movement between 1916 and 1918 in Germany and the only antiwar
organization deeply rooted among workers in the factories. And they were the
backbone of the German so-called November revolution in 1918. Their clandestine cell structure was the main support for the revolution. [...]

The take-over of their work places by workers has happened throughout the last 100 years during political, economic or social crisis’. In most take over’s workers have not only demonstrated that they are able to run factories, services and institutions, they also acted far beyond the need to maintain their jobs and experimented and created new ways of how to work and new relations among themselves, with other workers and with communities. During the last years we have seen again hundreds if not thousands occupations of work places, especially in Latin America, but also a few one in the North of the world. Facing a financial and systemic crisis these occupations are likely to grow in the near future as a mechanism of defense against the destructive force of capitalism. In this panel we want to have a look at the history and the actuality of workers control, discussing success and problems of workers control.

Rohstoffabbau und -export: Widersprüche, Interessen und Alternativen
Unter dem Schlagwort “Extraktivismus” oder “Neo-Extraktivismus” hat sich vor allem in den vergangenen zwei Jahren eine Debatte über die Ausbeutung und den Export von Rohstoffen aus Lateinamerika entwickelt. Kritisiert wird insbesondere in Bezug auf die “progressiven” Regierungen (Bolivien, Ecuador, Venezuela), aber auch in Hinblick auf Brasilien und Argentinien, dass mit der Rohstoffexportorientierung ein Entwicklungsmodell fortgeschrieben würde, das von weltwirtschaftlichen Dynamiken abhängig bleibt, der Binnenwirtschaft zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit schenkt und gravierende ökologische Zerstörungen bewirkt. Anderseits ist das Rohstoffgeschäft wichtig, um Sozial- und Verteilungspolitiken zu finanzieren. Ohne eine staatlich dominierte Aneignung der Rohstoffrenten könnten z.B. Venezuela oder Bolivien die an die Regierungen gestellten sozialen Erwartungen nicht erfüllen.
In dem Arbeitskreis soll es darum gehen, die widersprüchlichen Verhältnisse in den verschiedenen lateinamerikanischen Staaten von Mexiko bis Chile im globalen Kontext darzulegen. Es soll eine genauere Untersuchung erfolgen, die – jenseits normativ wünschenswerter Entwicklungsvorstellungen wie etwa dem Leitgedanken des “Buen Vivir” – diese Widersprüche als politische Fragen betrachtet. Jenseits ideologisch aufgeladener, vereinfachender Positionen, die in der Debatte unseres Erachtens vorherrschen, sollen insbesondere die unten angeführten Fragen diskutiert werden. Länderstudien, vergleichende und regionale Analysen sind gleichermaßen willkommen.
• Wie sehen die von den Regierungen verlautbarten Ansätze und Politiken bezüglich Rohstoffe, Entwicklung und Alternativen aus?
• Welche innergesellschaftlichen und transnationalen gesellschaftlichen Kräfte haben ein Interesse an einer Veränderung des Entwicklungsmodells, welche stehen dagegen?
• Welche gesellschaftlichen Konflikte werden sichtbar und wie wird damit umgegangen?
• Wer profitiert vom Rohstoffabbau und -export und wie werden die Einnahmen verwendet?
• Welche Möglichkeiten und Grenzen bestehen für eine strukturelle Veränderung des herrschenden Produktionsmodells?
• Welche gesamtwirtschaftlichen Effekte, etwa in Bezug auf Industrie- oder Währungspolitik, erwachsen aus der Rohstofforientierung?
• Welche Handelsmuster und Asymmetrien bestehen auf regionaler und globaler Ebene? Welche Auswirkungen hat der “Extraktivismus” auf regionale Integrationsbestrebungen und globale Krisendynamiken?
