2020 es un año bastante sombrío ... la pandemia que no se detiene ... los demócratas en los EE. UU., que han decidido darle a Trump la próxima presidencia (no es que yo haya esperado otra cosa...), el calentamiento global es más fuerte que nunca antes y una crisis múltiple cuyos efectos solo se manifestarán plenamente en los próximos meses. Además, la UE y Canadá apoyan guerras ilegales, golpes de derecha, etc. juntos a EE.UU. Existe mucha evidencia de que alguna acción militar estadounidense podría tener lugar antes de noviembre para desviar la atención antes de las elecciones presidenciales estadounidenses. ¿La meta? Quizás Venezuela ...

En ese contexto hay una noticia terrible y desconcertante: Hace15 días desapareció Carlos Lanz en Venezuela. Quien vió mi documental "5 fábricas - control obrer en Venezuela" talvez lo recuerda como director de Alcasa experimentando con el control obrero en la  fábrica de aluminio. Carlos Lanz, ex guerrillero y sociólogo es el analista y teórico más importante de las guerras de cuarta dimensión, de las técnicas aplicadas a Venezuela por los servicios de EEUU y Colombia. Además ha sido uno de los cuadro revolucionaros más comprometidos y con las bases y el poder popular, trabajando para el control obrero, el poder popular, los programas de agricultura popular etc. Será que su secuestro - después de muchisimos asesinatos de militantes de base revolucionarios - es el preludio para una intervención militar de algún tipo?

Mientras tanto, el levantamiento de clases en los Estados Unidos liderado por el proletariado afro continúa, aunque desapareció de los medios. Los liberales ganaron la guerra de propaganda pública e mpuesto su interpretación: se trata solo de algunas reformas policiales menores y programas sociales para los pobres como estratégia de contrainsurgencia. Pero eso no será suficiente a medio plazo ...

Hay muchos otros temas que valdría la pena comentar ... Kurdistán, Líbano, Bolivia, Mali, Bielorrusia ... Pero quiero enviar este noticiero hoy para hacerles saber que mañana, lunes 24 de agosto, lo discutiré con Camila Piñeiro. Será publicado en enero de 2021 por VSA y disponible como pdf para descarga gratuita en los sitios web de Fundación Rosa Luxemburgo. El libro se publicará en inglés y en aleman (ver punto 1).

Dario Azzellini and Michael G. Kraft (Eds.): The Class Strikes Back. Self-Organised Workers`Struggles in the Twenty-First Century. Haymarket, January 2019.

"The Class Strikes Back" examines a number of radical, twenty-first-century workers’ struggles. These struggles are characterised by a different kind of unionism and solidarity, arising out of new kinds of labour conditions and responsive to new kinds of social and economic marginalisation. The essays in the collection demonstrate the dramatic growth of syndicalist and autonomist formations and argue for their historical necessity. They show how workers seek to form and join democratic and independent unions that are fundamentally opposed to bureaucratic leadership, compromise, and concessions.

Specific case studies dealing with both the Global South and Global North assess the context of local histories and the spatially and temporally located balance of power, while embedding the struggle in a broader picture of resistance and the fight for emancipation.

„(…) Chávez and the social transformation process in Venezuela rapidly gained strong sympathies among social movements and the radical left throughout the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region; for the same reasons, Venezuela came to be the number-one enemy of the Latin American right and the United States, which supported several attempts to overthrow the government. After Chávez’s death in 2013, his successor, Nicolás Maduro, faced an increasingly violent opposition, a severe economic crisis, growing hostility from the United States and the European Union (EU), and a regional context in which the rise of right-wing governments reversed the “pink tide.” Since early 2019, the situation has escalated because of sanctions by the U.S. and EU countries; the recognition of a self-proclaimed “interim president” belonging to the opposition, by the United States, most EU countries, and the right-wing governments in Latin America; coup attempts; and the open threat of U.S. military intervention. Diese Online Lecture schafft einen breiten und zugleich detaillierten Überblick der Besetzungsbewegung und ihrer Dynamik. Ziel ist es, entscheidende Aspekte dieser Entwicklungen, die eigene Wege und Strategien zur Veränderung unserer lokalen Betriebe ermöglichen, aufzuzeigen.

Was zunächst mal ganz unglaublich klingt, ist in den vergangenen 20 Jahren über 1.000 Mal geschehen weltweit. Die erste große Welle von Besetzungen begann vor etwa 20 Jahren in Lateinamerika. Mit der Krise ab 2008 entschlossen sich Arbeiter*innen auch in den USA, Italien, Frankreich, Griechenland, Bosnien, Türkei, Ägypten und anderen Ländern zur Übernahme ihrer Betriebe. Aktuell bahnen sich wieder massive Pleiten und Betriebsschließungen an. Was können wir aus den bisherigen Erfahrungen von Betriebsübernahmen lernen?

(...) - in der ‘Corona-Krise’ - komme Arbeiterkämpfen eine besondere Rolle zu. Sie zeigten, dass die Überwindung der Krise nicht zuletzt davon abhänge, wie den System-Fehlern des Kapitalismus begegnet wird. Werden sie lediglich behoben oder provozieren sie, dass sich Grundsätzliches ändert? Dario Azzellini nennt uns Beispiele aus Lateinamerika und aus den USA. Gerade im letztgenannten Staat weisen die aktuellen Ereignisse um die Ermordung von Georg Floyd auf die jahrzehnte lange Stagnation der Sozial- und Wirtschaftspolitik hin.

(... ) It will not be easy. The crisis and the attack are hitting trade unions and movements in a difficult phase. Although there have been massive mobilizations in the last ten years, it has not been possible to develop a generally convincing alternative with great appeal. The left – in the broadest sense, i.e., including all movements and organizations that advocate overcoming inequality and exploitation and a sustainable perspective for the future – is in a process of reorganizing and reframing itself.

Verkommt die Genossenschaftsidee immer mehr zu einem ganz gewöhnlichen Businessmodell?

Ja, zu einem ganz gewöhnlichen Businessmodell, also ein Negativbeispiel für Genossenschaften. Menschen sind zu oft unterbezahlt und manche Genossenschaften haben nichts, aber auch gar nichts mit Gemeinwohl und Transformation zu tun. Das hat seinen Grund natürlich auch einfach darin, wie der Kapitalismus funktioniert. Umgehen kannst du das nur, indem du ganze Liefer- und Produktionsketten mit Genossenschaften abdeckst und so diesem Druck nicht entkommst, aber ihm stärker widerstehen kannst. Wenn ich in meiner Umgebung nur Genossenschaften habe, die alle dieselben Werte teilen, dann bekomme ich nicht so schnell ein Problem, wenn ich die Rechnung etwa eine Woche später bezahle. Die hetzen mir nicht sofort Anwälte hinterher.

Bir bilim insanı ve aktivist olarak 15 yıldır işçi mücadeleleri üzerine çalışıyorsunuz. Çalışmalarınız şu anki pandemi ile dramatik bir dönüm noktasında görünüyor, dünya çapında 170 sendikacının yeraldığı online konferansta yeraldınız. Bu konferansın konusu neydi? Sendikacılar ne tür sorunları öne çıkardı?

Online konferans Enerji Demokrasisi için Sendikalar (TUED) tarafından düzenlendi. Bu  iklim sorununda sürdürülebilir dönüşüm için küresel bir sendikacılar ağıdır. Bu ağ şimdi Covid-19 pandemisine ilişkin fikir alışverişi için kullanılıyor. Çok sayıda ülkeden sendikacılar var: ABD, Güney Kore, Filipinler, Hindistan, Avustralya ve diğer Asya-Pasifik ülkeleri ve Güney Afrika’dan raporlar geldi. İşçilerin mücadelelerine dair ve işçi hakları ve sağlığı ve güvenliğine saldırılar üzerine konuşma ve tartışmalar oldu..Hepsi Covid-19 pandemisinin etkilerinin, sayısız ölümün “doğal” olmadığını, onyıllardır kamu harcamalarındaki kesintilerin ve kamu sağlık sistemi ve hizmetlerinin özelleştirilmesinin, işçi haklarının gaspının ve istihdamın güvencesizleştirilmesinin bu sonuca yol açtığı üzerinde duruyor.

Wie sehr ist unser Leben von Arbeit durchwoben; ist gar das Leben selbst zu einer Form von Arbeit geworden?
